Our Story

Who We Are

Lubbock Addiction and Recovery Center (LARC) is a local non-profit organization that was established in 2019 by a group of friends who shared a common goal. Our founder, Anna Moreno Trevino, had a vision to offer a variety of services a "One Stop Shop" for individuals recovering from chemical and/or process addictions in the Lubbock community. The targeted populations are Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), Latinx, Unhoused, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+), single parents, and people who are reentering society from state institutions.

LARC's mission is rebuilding the Lubbock community to strengthen lives and improve the citizen’s quality of life.

Our vision is to bridge the gap between underserved communities, addiction, recovery, and education one life at a time.
